You could, but 9V batteries are only good for a few hundred milliamps. (I think the average is 800mAh.) You can probably get away with it if you usea low-power screen like <a href="http://www.aeicomp.com/Detail.asp?Produ ... D25L">this one</a>.

Honestly, for a NOACp, I think you're better off with AAs or AAAs. They'll last longer, and are generally cheaper than 9v cells. (Fun fact: 9V batteries are made of AAAA batteries!)

Well, remember that batteries have a maximal amount of Ampere they can supply at once. Maybe you should go with 2 parallel 9V batteries, even tho I don't recommend it.

9v batteries are fail. The average NiMH is only 300mAh, perhaps long enough to get 30 minutes of play. :P Go for AAs!
