Any good sites for video game related .wavs?

I'm bored so I'm changing all the windows sounds to video game related things. Could someone suggest a site that has some good .wav files? I particularly need the 'mission complete' thing from metal slug 3 and the dreamcast startup sound. Also soes anyone have any duggestions of what I should change certain files to?

Well since you can have like a 5 second boot sound for the gp2x the gp32x site has some, including the Dreamcast boot sounds last time I checked.

Well, if you have a DVD-recorder and a Dreamcast (yea, that's asking a lot, but hey) you can easily record the Dreamcast startup, and any other sounds for any game that can plug into a TV. Then just rip it on the PC.

You don't need any of that; just hook up the console's audio output to your PC's Line In port!

I use vgmusic.com. It's all in .midi format, but it makes it really easy to make sheet music with it. Most of the music there is pretty accurate, too. The instruments aren't exact, but hey, it sounds the same on a piano, right?

Mind you, newer effects aren't captured too well. Take Metroid Prime Title Screen, for example: http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/ni ... eTheme.mid

Thanks. does anyone know of a decent free mp3 to wav convertor? GamemasterAS, yeah that's where I got the Genesis startup sound.

Yeah... that's so much easier.

DVD recorder? *shakes head* Anyway, I'd also just rip them myself.

And yes, Audacity is awesome, as is vgmusic.com. (Wow... that brings back memories...)
