Its times like this that im gald that i know some german.

For batterys you could use a 12v car battery wired to aninverter

Different version on US eBay

It doesn't look as nice , and is bulkier, than the German one, but it folds into a tablet, allowing on edge gameplay.

Radio Shack has another version made by Intec, I like the looks of this better than the eBay one. Intec seems to make several styles.

Actually, as far as I understand, the german one can be flipped to the side and to the top (making it laptop or book-like)
