Its probably one of my favorite burger places. Extremely simple menu, (there's 3 meals), but there's all this terminology you can use to order stuff not on the menu.

For example, if you order a 2x2 (two-by-two) you get a double with to slices of cheese. You can change the numbers to you're liking however. Some guy got a 20x20 one time, or something close to it.

I don't really like the fries, but if you're ever on the west coast try out a Flying Dutchman.

Also we get besieged by Sonic ads on TV, yet they are nowhere near Wisconsin.

So they charge $5 for a burnt waffle? ;)

We get a lot of Sonic ads, too. Honestly I've never seen a Sonic in my life. (I've seen a Howard Johnson's and a Red Robin, but that was in Virginia.) According to their website there aren't any within 150 miles of my zip code. (I put in Verona, WI, and it said there's one in Davenport, Iowa, a scant 113 miles away. Lucky. :P)

Same here, except with Jack in the Box and Red Robbin. Fast food commercials have become stupid, except McDonald's commercials which work. Every time I see a McDonald's ad, I get hungry.

Way back before Rally's and Checkers merged, I used to only ever see commercials for Rally's, even though there were none in my state and we lived a mile from a Checkers.

I disagree about the fast food commercials, though. I think that the Sonic commercials are excellent, and McDonald's commercials get on my nerves.

I did see one McDonald's ad a few years ago that we excellent, though. It was a normal McDonald's national commercial, but there was a text crawl at the bottom that said something like,

"The 15th Street MacDonalds will be re-opening on June 10th. It will have a Zoo theme."

They actually misspelled "McDonald's" in a McDonald's advertisement.

i'm pretty sure all we have here that is original is "sirloin stockade" which smells of old and the food is that of a highschool cafeteria. also, anyone from illinois been to a place called "bishop's"? my grandparents love that place.

also, i've always wanted to try red robin. we get bombarded with their commercials... but, alas, i haven't seen one anywhere near here.

Um, are you going to Murray State Universty by any chance? Because they have a sirloin stockade nearby.
