Why is my motherboard different?
Hey guys just cracked open my Atari 2600 four switch to start on my portable and have discovered that the metal strip that you cut on the inside of in the book is not a rectangle like the pic in the book.
My section with the metal strip going around it is kind of a reverse L shape with more resistors and stuff inside it than the one in the picture can anyone tell me does this mean I can't use it?
Sorry just stopped being lazy and did a search, never mind.

Well, the book still applies to it, only the diagram is slighty different.
Portables of doom has a PAL illustration for bens book, let me find it.

Awesome thanks mate, you would think Ben would mention this in his book either that or tell people in other countries that they may need to do things other than what are in the book. Don't get me wrong it is a good book but I had to pay a fair bit to get it over here so just a mention of the differences would be good.
Now to go and see how my cutting skills shape up.
