No. The DS is just hooked up to the two screens.

If the guy wanted to play a game with the D-Pad he would have to use the DS that is hooked up to the screens.

I know it's not a laptop at the present time. I was suggesting one, in the same vein as Ben's Xbox and Wii laptops. It was supposed to be satirical, as a DS laptop would be harder to use and less portable. Kind of like this (I know, everyone's already seen it.)
