I noticed none of my professors noticed it, one class being history, another being American Politics. The third being Computer Science (wouldn't really expect it there).

I was in 5th grade at the time. My friend told me on the way to school what happened. He saw it on TV. I didn't really understand what was going on until our teacher explained it to us (it was all a big blur of rumors and crazy stuff before that).

Please don't post stuff like this as this could offend quite a few people and if you wanted to post in this thread please just keep it respectful and kind.daguuy wrote:I don't mean to disrespect anybody effected by 9/11, but everybody else needs to get over it.

I was in 6th grade, it was a day where our teacher allowed us to chew gum, cuz we were good, and a teacher from acrossed the hall came over and said to turn on the TV (Yeah every classroom I've been in since 4th grade has had a TV in it hooked up to Cable tv =P and my schools are poor lol) well he said that because he heard a plane crashed into a building, as they turned on CNN, it showed the Twin towers with Smoke pouring out, as the News reporters talked, and a few kids in the class talked, I watched the 2nd plane swoop in and slam into the towers LIVE.
And I still remember excatly where I sat in that classroom when it happened.

Man, six long terrible, yet healing years. Well, the high school I'm in (Stuyvesant High School) is right next to Ground Zero, and I remember the graduating class of the freshmen who were in 9/11 got an ovation from Conan O Brien. It was a really ass day. I was late for school by five minutes, it was pouring like a hurricane, cops surrounded Chambers Street, the area was dead quiet (except for the school). It was very sad, and seeing Ground Zero just really hit me in the heart. Although we have been attacked, we shall never fall, we shall rise once more...
. Cheers peoples...cheers.

I can only imagine what you felt that day. The worse this we have had around here was the Heath High School shooting. Read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heath_High_School_shooting . But that shooting is not even close to being as devastating as 9/11.demonofaj wrote:Man, six long terrible, yet healing years.
