Putting an Xbox 360 Controller into a Logitech Chillstream

After much searching for an air-cooled controller for Xbox 360, I have found nothing. Nyko made the AirFlo for Xbox, and although they did use the AirFlo name for a 360 product, it is in fact a fan stand for the 360 itself. Logitech makes the Chillstream for PS3, and they have another Chillstream for PC. This PC Chillstream looks exactly like an Xbox 360 controller, and I have no idea why it doesn't work on Xbox 360.

So, what I want to do is take the Chillstream PC controller shell, open up a wired 360 controller, and put the guts of the wired controller in the Chillstream. As you can see here: http://tinyurl.com/3y9ore the Chillstream PC controller should match up with the 360 board. However, I need to know what the extent of this mod will be. I think it would be better to use all the buttons on the Chillstream, but I don't know if everything will match up perfectly, despite the similarity. I'm worried that the Chillstream board may be specially designed to compensate for the fans, which would mean a standard controller board might not fit. If anyone has opened one of these, or has found pics of one opened up, that would be very helpful. I have opened official 360 controllers before, but not a Chillstream.

EDIT: I have found pics of the insides: http://tinyurl.com/396hzp at HardwareHell. It looks big enough to fit a 360 board. Any thoughts? I'm a little worried about the triggers. And what about the power cord?

My thought: Air cool the controller yourself, it's easier than build a controller into a shell not designed for it. Buy some small fans, Jam them on, and use bondo and marine epoxy and the likes to smooth everything out.

That's what I would do, if there wasn't enough room to simply jam the fans inside.

Uh, are you suggesting I just tape fans on the side? Or are you saying that I should make cutouts for the fans in a stock controller, or that I should make my own shell? Also how would I power the fans? In any case, the fans need to be under my hands, so I don't think putting fans on top, even after smoothing them out, would be ergonomic, and it would probably make the buttons hard to reach. But creating my own case would be the best way, but it would also be the hardest way.

He's saying that you should install fans into the Xbox 360 controller, which would be the best way to do it.
