On another note, I have a lot of podcasts, about 4gb's worth. Now I have a 4g 20gb iPod (18.5 really) and I have 2gb left, and no, that doesn't include any videos.
Radio? I haven't listened to a radio for a couple of years...

I'm thinking about getting the 160GB iPod Classic...but the iPod Touch is so spiffy. I would get the 8GB Touch. I know I can fit all my music on the Touch, but just for fun should I get the extra 152GB?

Does that really matter that much? Youv'e already got all your own music on your ipod and the radio stations rarely play good music that you wouldnt already have. It's not as if the radio is a good source for finding out about obscure bands or anything.
There are things besides music on the radio. I listen to various talk radio stations, and it would be nice to have a radio built in to my $300 piece of hardware.

Exactly, I have a station here that's 89.1 that has NPR and jazz on weeknights, as well as comedians on Sunday night. So anyone who says "why?!! LOL!!!11!!", why not?. What XPC said, it'd be nice to pay $250 for a feature that can be found in $5 fm radios at general dollar.

Yeah, my uncle can go all around Boston and never lose a connection. Not that way out here though (suburbs of Chicago).

Ipods are overpriced? Just a sec... nope, the target market buys them, the price is fine.

No one uses more than 16 gigs? Jest a sec... nope, 17 gigs music, 40 gigs videos, 16 gigs is too small.

I forgot my third point? Just a sec... yeah, I forgot it, but trust me, it would have been witty and mildly amusing.

The only problem here is ALL OF YOU!

Hey if I'm going to put down $300 for a device I at least want to use it all the time. Besides, when you live in a area where you can't get cable but the people on the other side of a field can (country thing, it's messed up) I don't think I'll be getting a steady wifi connection if I need it.

If it had the same capacity as current iPods w/ video, it would be rad, 'cause I think that form is nicer than an iPod for watching movies, wider and whatnot.

Ok, you got me there. NPR and jazz is enough but you have to look at it like apple does for this. The majority of their user base probably wouldn't use the radio so its a waste of one dollar an ipod for them. Though I don't agreee with them not enough people would complain to get that put in.

But it's worth enough for them to make an FM attachment and charge $50 for it.

Oh grow up you guys, it's not like anyone's forcing you to buy anything...

If you want a radio, you can get an FM Walkman for $10, or a junk scanner radio for a dollar at Dollar Tree.

Wont there be some sort of service for this iPod Touch since theres internet? And wouldnt it be about 40 to 50 bucks a month? My dad has a blackberry and he has to pay 40 bucks for his internet service. Just a thought.
