PSP won't play games!

This has been brought up twice in Forum 42, but this is the proper place to ask it. Why won't my PSP play games? I was trying to install custom XMB's (To no avail) and when I returned it back to the original the game folder stopped working. Like when you go to Game - MemoryStick. It just froze, then shut off. Then I tried a UMD. The XMB wave kept waving, but nothing happened. I tried to reinstall 1.50 via recovery. Nothing. Just black screen, then no power. Same thing happened when I tried to set the 1.50 update to autoboot. Strangely, apps and games run through recovery. What's wrong? I seriously am baffled by this. It's probably something stupid, but I want help. BTW, I don't have a battery to spare to do Pandora's Battery.

It's not that we don't want to help you, it's just that we don't know what's wrong.

Pandora's battery===reversible (that means you can change it, fix your PSP, and change it back). This is the reason that the most customization my XMB gets is a different background.

Can I fix it with the PSP I used to make it? And how can I set this up if I can't run homebrew at all?

I believe you can if you do the software thing. You could follow iam7805's tutorial in F42 for making one (open it up and lift a pin), otherwise you'll have to find someone with a homebrew-able PSP to do it or get someone here to send you one that you can use.
