Getting the Xbox LCD screen to work with the Atari 2600 hack

Hello all,
I have the Atari 2600 hacked to size and I am trying to use the Xbox LCD 5"screen. The problem is I don't get a picture when I hook it up.
I know the Atari works because I have tested it on a TV with RCA jacks. Also I know the Xbox screen works because I tested an old Coleco all-in-one handheld with it.
Has anyone been able to get these two items to work together?
Does anyone know if the issue is the signal strength of the Atari?
Can anyone help me please?

Are you sure you performed the composite (or RGB/ S video) mod correctly?

Which Composite mod are you using, the old one or the new one? (Apparently the old one had problems with certain screens.)

@Kyo: If you don't tie the luma and chroma signals together with the Composite mod, you get S-video.

Currently I am using the old video mod but just recently found the document on the new video mod. I am going to try it tonight or tomorrow using variable resistors and see if I can tweek it to work.
I will let you know what resistor values I come up with to use on the Xbox Screen.

Do you know where I could find the information on this mod to make the S-video for the atari? Maybe the ULR...

Here's the URL for the new composite mod. Getting S-video out of it is less obvious than the old one, but it apparently works with the PSone screen. (Your Xbox screen may be similar.)

As for S-video out of the old mod, just don't connect the luma and chroma wires together.

Well, I recreated Ben's new video mod using all 1K variable resistors instead of the set values, this way I could adjust to the values needed. Drum roll please…..

I actually got it to work!

I tested with a legacy mobile video monitor and a MC06 TFT 6"LCD color monitor!

First the Legacy monitor: This device does not use any channel or volume buttons. It only has knobs for contrast, brightness, and color! It has a single yellow audio RCA jack with no sound. It does not come with power supply and needs +12DCV.
On this device I have to say the picture was OK but not great. It is very hard to adjust the color pot from the Atari and get the correct color scheme. Also it is hard to figure out if adjusting the unit knobs or the atari resistors is more helpful. Also the picture has a slow signal shift. Meaning you see a signal line move slowly up the screen constantly. Does any know why this does this and how to fix it?

Second the MC06: Now this device has buttons for channel, volume, menu, and video mode. The picture on this unit was much better! I had an easier time adjusting the picture to the color I wanted. The picture is pretty big to at 6â€
