Yard Sale Laptop

Post by RNS0504 »

Hey Everyone,
Today i got the deal of my life. I want to a yard sale in my neighborhood, and saw a laptop. All i could tell from the exterior was that it was made by Micron and had a DVD drive. I asked the price, and she said... get ready... $5! That is not a typo! She said it was cheap because the "T" key did not work. I bought it anyways, and popped the "T" key off. Shot it w/ comp. air, and it works like brend new!

The SPECS:
Pentium 3 800 mhz
320 MB ram
20.5 GB hdd
~15" LCD
DVD-ROM
WIN XP Home
Came w/ a free wireless 802.11g PC card
TOTAL PRICE: $5
MY CONCIENCE WOULDNT LET ME BARGAIN TO $3
NOT FOR SALE

why is that funny. Its useless now. Unless you plug a new keyboard in. An 800mhz is faster than my fastest computer so I feel insulted.

Yea, that'd be a great idea for one of the top most used letters in the English language.

Man, I wish I could find a deal like this. I've been looking for a cheap laptop with a good screen so that I can make a digital picture frame.
2 "pong" systems, Atari 2600, Odyssey2, Intellivision III, Top Loading NES, GameBoy Pocket, Sega Genesis 3, Sega Nomad, Game.com, N64, Playstation, Dreamcast, GameCube, XBox

I got my laptop for $40 (but it's not nearly as good and had a broken LCD). The screen cost $70, and I decided it was worth upgrading with more RAM ($30) and a new hard drive ($90ish). So yeah, for about $250 I got a crappy low-end P3 laptop. But it has 320MB of RAM and a 40GB hard drive :P

make a carputer out of it.

www.mp3car.com

that thing's more than powerful enough for some mp3s via winamp or something.
