ah....well then I'm sure popsci is going to hunt you down now with robo-monkeys!A small note to add is that by robo-monkeys I mean monkeys with robotic limbs controlled by their brain waves. and yes, it has been done.

sorry, my letter writing is tied up in trying to get the city I work at to put up a traffic light at a certain spot (honestly, I was close to having 2 accidents, one could have been me getting hit in the side by 2 cars at once, in the 3 1/2 months I've been driving with a license, and I'm a pretty good driver) and seeing if I can put the PDF from the book on doomportables.

the weird thing is it is a 30MPH zone, but on the left is underneath this bridge you cannot really see through. My boss said that there have been quite a few accidents threre.

Are we gonna do the shirts or what? I know where to get them cheap but we need a design.

They could be ordered from this site!

You should go bug popsci about using that pic I posted, I think it would make a killer shirt.

I think it's a great idea. Maybe spongey could post a portable tshirt design contest over at AA, I know they seem to go crazy as far as graphic designing goes :)

Yeah, nathan strum makes some pretty killer labels. The only thing is that you have to supply a prize... Maybe bens book would do?

There was a place like that where I live where there was a lot of accidents and tons of people complained until they finally put a light up.
So maybe you could ask your neighbors to sign the letter, that might help.

They would be an awesome thing to have.
We all need to figure out what kind of message we want the shirt to have. Should it have a pic of ben's portables along with a quote (I like this one)? A vague " make it portable" message? An insigna made of soldering irons, LEDs, regulators, and what-not? Or something else?
We really need to come to some sort of a conclusion about what we should have on it...
