IMHO this whole site used to be a lot more interesting, but I think that's more about me growing up rather than the site going downhill. I used to post a lot more, but I guess I'm losing interest in the whole hardware-scene (too $$, amirite).

Oh yeah, how many people here lurk in /b/, etc? I swear I keep seeing meme's everywhere on these forums. Maybe it's just the jargon spreading.

I started going to /b/ pretty recently but I'm pretty sure it's just because the memes spread that they end up here most of the time.

You're aware that you really haven't been here much longer than me or Sky, right? And even in the few months that you were here before I signed up, I still lurked the forums. I remember all that stuff as well. The first run of HDC, his ban, return as Sword_Gun and re-return as HDC, Cennar and all his douchiness, the sad vanishing of NOS, and the lack of noobiness when the community was small(er). And in more recent history, Retromaster's ban and Atari2600A's leave.

Say what you will about how the forums are becoming overrun with n00bs, going downhill, etc. It all may be true, but I know my time spent here is not in vain. I've made a lot of good friends, a couple of which who are considerably close (you know who you are

). I've learned a lot, and had a lot of good times, not to mention killed a few hours during school every now and then. So to everyone, thanks for making this a nice stay so far!

I went on a lot in like June/July, got a rather large 4chan folder (95megs or something), then started to lose interest. Once you've seen the main images and meme's its not all that exciting. A bunch of newfags throwing the same things out over and over. If I see Megan Fox leaning over the hood of Bumblebee one more time...amirite?
