BTW, one of my aspirations here is, to one day, be a mod. even if my chances are small, I'm kinda hoping I can help out some, and give back to the forum that gave me the info for my portables!

Y'all li'l yella belly whippersnappers!

You see...back in my day, men were men and boys were men. If you misbehaved, you got 50 lashings with a belt...and you liked it! But misbehavin' is different these days cause back in the time before Skyone and CTfan and any other mods that've been here shorter than I have, the world of benheck (or Yon Li'l Heckendorn as it may have been known as back then) was a small community where everybody knew everybody and everybody else knew everybody else so threads weren't locked as a precaution to prevent bomb attacks. Because people were friends back then and knew they wouldn't blow each other up because people were all at least 15-16 years old and were more mature then the whippersnappers we have today. And then the dinosaurs became extinct and the world of Yon Li'l Heckendorn became what is here today: the Matrix. But there is no Neo to save the world, unless either cennar comes back and tells us his tales of getting high, or nos-slived comes back and humps somebody's leg.

And that's the end of geezer talk today. Tune in next time for more fantastically accurate tales of yesteryear that will make you head explode with amazingness!

I think if SS ever becomes a mod I will leave benheck for good. Same goes if some other people that remain nameless become mods. I am fine with the mods we have now and I don't want a mod that spams more then me.

Its been 2000 posts and almost 2 years and I am still portableless. I just am not good at all the techy stuff you guys do.

LoL, I'm like 6 days older than you are.

Member 428, joined the same day as tom61, but I beat him!!! First saw Ben's SNESp in Popular Science and came here to try my hand at a N64p (3300 posts later, still no N64p

). Might try again soon, depends on if I get a job or not. And cennar, for all those that didn't know him, well, he literally was stoned when he wrote every post.
