So? Its still 100% FAIL and should only be used to download firefox or if you absolutely can't use another browser. At least use IE 6, it was at least set up somewhat logically, and IE 7 is a horrible representation of tabs.

My job uses IE 7; I think they do it to discourage surfing while on duty. Rather ingenious, in my opinion.

IE7 works just fine for me at work and home.

Don't know what all the hate is about other than...

"It's Microsoft so I must hate it in order to look cool on the Internet!"

It's a bit behind the Netscape and Opera based browsers in standards acceptance (except for Microsoft's 'standards', of course), though almost everything but Opera fails the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid2">Acid test</a>. Just try loading my website in IE 6; it gets mangled because I used CSS.

I don't use Firefox to "stick it to the man" or any of those other open-source hippy excuses. I like it because of its extensions, AdBlock, tabbed browsing, and its clean, unobtrusive interface. (I think all of Microsoft's newest products are unnecessarily shiny and huge, like all the buttons polluting IE7, and the Aero interface.)

IE 7 has closed the browser gap since it includes tabs, but I'm still partial to Firefox.

EDIT: Un-fubar'd my HTML.
