If you want to make a system like that it will have to work like the Dreamcast and have BIOS set to boot the media you put in. The problem with what you wrote is that as far as I know Fallout requires you have it installed first. If you could change that to have it run on ram only then yes.Gman wrote:i just whated to make one thats more like a game boy and you dont have to install a game.Like fallout i would what to bring on a trip or camp would you [or any other game] and not wait for it to install and take up space well any thankes for the replys.

Wow an over priced laptop.
The thing is if you make a portable PC you have more control over it. For one you dont have to buy all the 44 pin IDE stuff and exactly who is it that said it has to have a screen, personly I could live with a miniturized computer.

What about the cell chip from Sony? How much power would that thing take (does anyone know)? Because if it stays cool then no fans, no fans means more power, more power means longer portable time, more portable time means you do whatever you want to do with the PC.
That and the cell chip is pretty cool, it may not blow nano out of the way, but pretty darn close depending on power usages (for a portable solution that is).

When in Japan with access to just about every system ever made and those that have yet to see international soil, gather your forces, and make the cool ones your own.

I know the power. Got i on some spreadshees. I'll cheack and see if I can post it without my Dad getting fired.
Ok I found out that I can say that it uses far less power then a conventional processor. I didn't have the time to read exact numbers. I just looked at a line graph.
