Mhm, too much effort for me here (I would have to install greasemonkey and everything), If I ever want to use that smiley, I'll just stick to putting the url into IMG tags manually.

Still, nice little script you have there.

No, that's what I was saying... it's a server-side script that would allow simply typing

to show up as

. I, obviously, don't have access to the server. So, I can't do that.

It's technically possible, now that I think of it, but what I would have to do is write the script to essentially "read" your message, and replace any instances of

with [-img]http://skytroniks.com/images/database/smilies/wtf.gif[/img-] (without the hyphens) upon clicking the submit button. It'll be hard, but I could probably do it... hmm... *mind wanders off*

It would still be easier if the admins could just add the icon to the normal emoticon database.

UPDATE: Added PM support. The PM window has an additional row on the page (Username), so a different script is needed. allRows[18] needs to be allRows[19], otherwise the icon will replace the

icon instead. Click here for PM script.

UPDATE: V1.1 is out!

Changes:

- Typing :-wtf-: (without the hyphens) now automatically inserts the URL to the icon in its place "onchange" (when you click or tab anywhere outside of the message box; including the Submit button).

- Fixed small coding error that tries (and fails) to insert the icon in a non-existent row on the "Your message has been entered successfully." page. This didn't affect anything before, since there is no 18th row on that page, but it gives an error in FF's Error Console... those make my coding skills look bad... so...
