Charging Batteries

Just wondering, I have a RC Battery, 7.2v 3300 mAh. I have a PSone power supply, possible charger? If so would I just hook in the leads right to the battery? I don't know much about battery charging, but I am a halfasses(bad word?!) electrician. =D

I think that works, actually I think I did that when i tried and failed at a PSp.

but before you try anything wait for someone to correct me if im wrong so you don't break anything.

I think that is right, because in his book it makes a power source out of the ps1 power cord, and is using a sony battery. Charge it, it willl?

Ah yes it will work, after looking through his book again I'm sure it will.
And i also found my old charger I made. Theres also a guide on portables of doom for it if I remember correctly.

No, I'm pretty sure the PSone power supply won't charge the Sony camcorder batteries because they're lithium. (Lithium batteries + no protection circuit = fire. It's happened to my neighbor's RC airplane batteries before.)

As for your RC batteries, if they're NiMH you're better off buying a smart charger for them. I've heard that using a "dumb charger" (ie a power supply) can prematurely wear the pack out.

Heh, not good for either one. You will overcharge the NIMhs, and the lithiums?

Probably want to buy a new house. Just a warning.
