.1uf capactor/ 1uf capactor

Post by SEA DAWG »

Hey guys, I need some help. I'm building a NESp for Ben's book Hacking Video Game Consoles and it's goin great! On page 158, it has a digram of a pc board and the parts you need to attach to it. Well I was adding all the stuff when I came to number 6. (.1uf capacitor) and 7. (1uf capacitor). I don't know where to get these because it's not in the parts list one page, 129. So can you ppl tell me what you did? Or if there is something I missed?

Ok thanks, a lot

Also I searched for a topic on these forums, but non came up that I saw. So if there is any, hit me up.

Thanks again.

capacitors. Good old stinkin' normal capacitors
the u is actually a µ, which stands for micro.
the F stands for farad, the unit for measuring capacitors.

Ok thanks. But does anyone have any clue about the number of ohms or anything of that good stuff that I should buy with the capacitors?

Thanks again

Ohm is for resistors. Capacitors (as explained above) use Farad as unit.

buy a 1µF (microfarad) capacitor

capacitors also have a voltage rating
just go with a 16v or 25 v one
