Can (JAPAN) SuperFamicom cartridges be played on (NTSC-US) SNES console? I have a NTSC SNES which I'm portablizing right now and there are some SFC games I like. Should I buy? Will they be OK on my machine? Any answer will be very helpful.

Should work fine on the SNES (only thing stopping this are the tabs on the case of it), and should (IIRC) work fine even on a PAL SNES if given the proper modifications

So if I get them and change their cases with my (US) SNES cases, there won't be any problems?

Nope. As long as they fit. (Which they will), you'll be fine. The only problem would be PAL cartridges.

Thanks, gannon and kyo.

I bought this:

That used to be a very popular game in Turkey.

I really wouldn't recommend switching cases tho, cause all you have to do to your snes is snap off two tiny pieces of plastic in the SNES cart slot. It won't even change the outer appearance of your SNES, if you do so.
And if you're portablizing it, then that shouldn't be a problem in first place, unless you want to add (for no apparant reason) two tiny plastic pieces to block japanese (and PAL) games from fitting.
