PSone screen hacking acticle on extremetech.

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Man, by the time they stop releasing stuff, you wont have to buy the book! :P
EDIT: Casio pocket screens too... :|

hmmm....most of that stuff I already knew, although I never thought about just cutting slits in the, er, "light box" :P and wiring the LEDs outside the "light box".....I'd always wire them so that the wires all fit in the light box (which was pretty hard....)
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Yeah, that tip about cutting the slits in it makes wiring a lot easier :)

Yeah there's not a whole lot of new stuff there but it's nice to have it all explained in a walkthrough manner.

Hmm...The LED mod looks to risky for me to try it. I really can't risk frying my screen, cause it's the only one I have. Plus I like to be able to adjust the brightness. It's helpful in a few games.

BTW, the brightness mod rocks!

Yes it does. Having it on a awitch rocks even more.
