Guys. What have I said? I said I only want to buy something that takes the original FAMICOM carts. Like seriously guys. I already said theres nothing like playing the original carts.

I do not want to buy a PSP or a Gp32, or a gpx2. Okay?

Dont derail this thread. This has NOTHING to do with PSP or GPs.

no besides an adapter. (not this famicom thing) you can't use a gba for screen.

it's not wise to use a gba screen for nes gaming as it doesn't really have a high enough resolution. The scaling will be as noticable with that as with the GBA's software NES emulator.

Theres a Handy 8 something or another gba-to-famicom adapter that has been kicked around the site a few times.

The ebay pics don't work but if you scroll down spreeway posted some himself of insides plus different elevations and such and I think most of them still work.

Why?! Why do you want to buy some garbage clone hardware when you can have the system and every game made for it, plus homebrew, in your pocket?

If there really ain't nothin' like the real thing[size=0]you win a cookie if you get the reference[/size], then why not just build a portable out of a real Famicom?

Well bic, downloading roms is illegal. Also, I dont know why, I just like the feel of playing a famicom cart. And, well like. I cant make good portables. And also, I dont have money to buy a PAL/NTSC-J Screen for the portable.

I'm not sure but I don't think ntsc-j is different from the american ntsc. Also you could just convert a real nes to famicom. Famicom is smaller though.

I've got a Game Axe collecting dust. Only thing is, I made two holes in the top near the cart slot. I screwed in two long screws so that the adapter & nes cart could rest against something. The cart was always getting thrown out of wack while playing. This way, I could tilt the Axe and play a while without errors.

The battery case never stayed on properly. There's nothing broken, just wouldn't stay closed. Screen wasn't too bad, but the thing ate batteries like candy. I never did buy an AC adapter.
