Ugh, AVI is a container format for any number of codecs! What do you need? Microsoft Video? XviD? Cinepak? :roll:

Sorry, that's a peeve of mine for some reason. :lol:

Use MediaCoder. It will convert almost anything into almost anything else.

I downloaded a video from youtube so I can reupload it (sing'n picard, the user disabled rating and commenting), so im re-uploading it to youtube, so everyone will see my account! :twisted:

Well what you could have done was use this to download the video as an avi. It will convert the video for you and then give you a download link.

nothing personal, but I hate people who re-upload videos to youtube. seriously. It just gums up the search results and takes up space. its silly. youtube is not a freaking contest.

the only reason im doing it is because of the vidiot that uploaded it in the first place didnt allow comments, rating, or embedding.

I agree, only re-upload videos if you have a more complete version (like if the only video of some commercial is the shortened version, and you have the full version). The comments are almost always pure spam with people going "l@@k @ m3, i c4n s4y th3 f- w0rd, f*** you" and the like.
