It's a new subdomain that has the anti-bot stuff and what not. I'd like to phase out this phpBB/ location.

That won't do much if they're both on the same server...

EDIT: Ooh we're going to have to make up a redirect script that can take the /phpBB/viewpost.php?postid=8675309 links and redirect them to the forum subdomain, or else all the internal thread links won't work anymore. (Right?)

EDIT 2 [size=0]Electric boogaloo[/size]: For now, the entire signup page on the /phpBB folder should be blanked (or at least edit the terms of service page) so bots can't sign up with this copy.

EDIT 3: I normally don't like editing Ben's posts, but this should get as much attention as possible. Announce-ified!

Gannon suggested I edit the htaccess file, which should take care of redirecting.

But hey, everyone wanted the forums in a subdomain for YEARS, right? Here it is!

I've edited the board config, so forums.benheck.com should have no problems, and instead, the login/etc redirects will be opposite (benheck to forums.benheck)
Still need a rewrite rule to send this URL to the subdomain though.

So why then are there still the bot postings on the site, eg the N64 section, etc? Can't they be deleted please? Let's get rid of the unwelcome rubbish.

If you need a mod for the N64 section in the future, PM me. I don't have programming skills but I am on the forum a lot! If I were a mod and could delete spam postings, I would.
