Yeah it's pretty freakin hot here Arkansas, but it's more humid than anything... And yeah I've gotten even better at Guitar Hero during the server outages, and I didn't even know that was possible. :P

Yeah, it's been up in the high 80s - low 90s here. I'm not trying to be mean, we're just used to the cold here, and anything over 85 degrees generally mandates air conditioning to get it back down to the comfy low 70s. :P

But back on the original topic, I couldn't even connect to the server until a couple hours ago. It tends to work better late at night. Ben, have you called the hosting service? Aren't we on a dedicated server, or at least one with fewer accounts on it?

If you look at Ben's latest article you'll see that it has been dugg over 600 times.

I think that is your answer as to why the site has been so slow for the last week or so.

Wow. I kind of thought the "suicide button" (Digg button) would do this sooner or later.

I suppose that makes sense, considering the completely unbalanced number of comments it has.

Should we set up an emergency forum over at the podcast site? (Just a little punbb thing with F42, tech Q&A, and maybe a war room...)

I suppose this isn't too bad; digg brought down the old server a lot faster.

If you are looking for a temporary home you guys are welcome to "jump in" over at my site's *ahem* lightly utilized forums until the Digging subsides if you wish.
