UPDATE wrote: STILL available. Now I'm just selling the SNESp, SMW, the charger, and the controller.
The price? $275 shipped, $260 shipped plus a SuperJoy 3, $245 shipped plus a hipgear, or $215 shipped plus hipgear/SJ3. Prices are negotiable.
That's right, I'm finally selling this thing. It comes with An extra controller, smart battery charger, and 8 games:
Street Fighter 2
Mortal Kombat 2
Star Fox
Zelda: A Link to the Past
Where's Waldo?
Frogger
F-Zero
Super Mario World (2 copies, one just the board, possibly broken)
Feautres: RGB, Stereo, LED Mod, etc. See my site.
Ports on back (in order):
-Stereo sound with a volume slide. Gets really REALLY loud. Great for Grandpa.
- Ext/Int. controller switch.
-A/V Out
- Power Jack (not headphone jack. I'd try to avoid plugging headphones in to this jack. No headphone jack included)
- On/Mute/Off switch
- Protection circuit reset tact. If you're good about batteries, you'll never need this.
Here's what wrong with it:
- Screen flickers a little. Just a little. Here's a video of the flicker. To be honest, I did not even notice this while endurance testing it playing zelda. It's mostly noticeable on static pictures with big chunks of the same/similar colours.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=313twvbHPGI Video of flickering.
- Top button (X) also hits Right Shoulder Button, and R also hits X. Not a problem for most games. 5/8 of the included games don't use the shoulder buttons. If it's a problem, you can use the external controller, which works just fine
- Paint flaws. Mostly minor, all of them don't show up in the pictures.
Everything else works 100%. You have my Kurt Guarantee.
So in short, this is a fabulous system to buy, unless you're very picky about little paint flaws or a tiny bit a flicker.
I stopped endurance testing at 6 hours. It was running 100% at 6 hours, but I didn't want to push it much further.
The top, where most of the paint flaws are.
