Recomend me... polka music :(

Post by ganonbanned »

My Grandpa is turning 83 and we're having a huge surprise b-day jam for him. all of the extended family is coming and there are possibly over 50 people coming. its this saturday, and my mom realized something... theres no music. My uncle has a whole sound system, and my mom wants me to play old time music, mainly polka but all kinds of old music. I doubt any one here knows of anything that they would like but its worth a shot. what kind of music (give names) do old people like? ask your grandparents if you cant think of any...

Don't forget about the old crooners like Bing Crosby (he did "White Christmas"). Michael Buble is newer, but is in a similar style.

I don't know of any really famous polka artists, well except for Weird Al. :P

Dualing Banjos and a few other Blugrass songs with a good reltively fast beat to it. Make sure to get one slow beat to it too.

Look for a song with "jindobre" in the title. My grandpa was polish and jindobre in Polish means "have a good day".
