N64 to PSOne Multi Plug Adapter

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

N64 to PSOne Multi Plug Adapter

Post by Metal Mario »

I am trying to create a portable n64, using a PSOne screen. Do you know where I can get a multi plug adapter to connect the N64 AV Multi Out plug to the PS One LCD Screen AV Multi In plug. Is this even possible? Would the wiring of the two plugs be compatable? Is it possible to connect the N64 to the PSOne screen without disassembling the PSOne screen? Thanks for any help.

You can sort of do that, if the PSone screen has AV input or a pass-through connector for the PSX AV cable.

Basically you use a couple RCA adapters, the N64 cable, and a Playstation AV cable (or camcorder cable). Hook them together and plug into the back of the screen. (This is sort of how I get video onto the Intec screenpad screens.)
