If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
Hi,
Im new to this portable thing and im only 12.
im deciding to make a mega joy p by using a lcd screen the megajoy is meant to go to a tv and it has 1 video socket 1 audio socket and it takes 4 aa 1.5 batteries i have no wires at all how could i do this.
Look around the site a little more and see if that solves your problem. If not come back with the specs of the tv you plan to use.
P.S. Why not just join?
I'm not sure what kind of signal that would take and I'm pretty sure you would need the original board to use it. Plus I don't recommend using an ngage screen as they have screwy dimensions.
Ngage screen is most likely a digital one so its about as useful as a rock. You'll need something that will take an anologe siganal, go to doomportables.org, under systems and then screens. We have a nice list there for you to pick from.

Being english has nothing to do with what he said. He was refering to a specific screen, and if you dont learn to mod you never will if you dont try...
nope i havnt i just started high school but im thinking of using the megajoy 2s case and super glueing the screen then sticking tough cardboard round it to make it look better.[/img]

No a rock is much more useful. YOu could rob someone on a psone screen with a rock Oh and regeister you MBB
Go to your local gaming store and look for a product thats called the Hig Gear Screen. It will be (you'll have to translate) about $30 USD. To mod, just open the controler case, cut the wires that go to the screen. Read the two thread the Lady Ana posted in as they pertain to getting it to work.
