I was doing an... "endurance" test, with my incomplete game of Zelda. About 20 minutes in, the volume down bar (the one on the PSOne Screen) showed up. I can not get it to go away. As I can not take this thing apart, I prodded through some pried up plastic where the button should be to no avail. I believe I kept it there, although nothing changed at all since the last time position-wise. I didn't even unscrew the PSOne board. The things I cahnged from last time are as follows:
- DC/DC regulator replacing the broken 7805s. It can handle 2.85A and as low as 5.6Vin. It outputs a safe constant 4.7V.
-Fixed the D-pad.
If the problem was the voltage regulator I would have picked up on it earlier, right? I fully charged the batteries overnight.
There's a place from the back to connect the buttons, isn't there. Great, it's probably some ball of solder stuck to the tape. I'm not redoing this thing.
What do you think?
