Hiya! I am going to be using my old power and reset buttons for my NESpc I am building (which is why I decided to build and NESp) and I was wondering, how could I make a new power and reset button? Thanks for letting me use up your time.
Could you rephrase the question? It's hard to understand what you need to know. Like, do you want to know how to make the plastic buttons themselves, or where to connect the switches to on the mobo? etc...
Sorry. Since I am going to use the buttons themselves to make the NESpc, I was wondering how I would go about wiring an SPST and SPDT switch for the power and reset. I was thinking about it, and I decided to change from a push button for power to a switch. Any ideas?
you could remove the metal piece from the nes power switch to make it into a momentary spst switch. And then just connect that to the power on wire of the psu
Sorry to ask again but... How would I switch the normal NES power button, (the one that stays depressed) into a switch? Does anyone have a diagram or something? Thanks again.

If you look at it there's a small metal piece on it that's not on the reset switch. Just pull that off to make it into a momentary pushbutton (or you could use the more complex way of keeping it as a toggle switch and use a 555 to produce the output. only perc to the harder way is that it's even more like a nes )
Or you can buy an SPST switch and then you only have two connectors (which is the "proper" way of doing this). It works fine either way, but the SPST might be a little smaller and easier to fit.
