I want to make a Wii laptop without voiding any warranties.
I know the transformer outputs 12 volts, ~3 amps max.
I might get a Ni-MH (if I win the lotto I'll use li-poly) battery pack. I don't know what screen I want to use and how many volts it needs
What does the Wii actually need? Do I need to use a 12v voltage regulator? Is it ok to just hook up 10 rechargable cells? how about 9.6 volts with 8 cells (my mini dvd player runs on a 9v wall wart AND also has a li-ion battery)?
