Picked one up at the mall, thought it was a regular one, opened it open, saw a penguin and a controller with no wires, looked at box, got mad, and came here.
Can this be used for a portable? If not, I'm going to give that lady at the mall a peice of my mind as she had the regular ones set up and was all "oh it's the SAME EXACT THING".

Does it have a cart port?

You connect the penguin to the TV and put the cartridge into it. Then you get the controller and turn the controller on, and it starts up.

I think it uses rf which could be possible because when they make them they would be breaking copywrite laws so why would they fallow fcc rules?

Oh, so only the controls are wireless. I'm glad I decided not to get one.
