Genesis 1 Adapter

I recently bought a Genesis 1 with no power cable. It has a somewhat uncommon rating (9VDC 1.2Am), and I could not find a perfect match in my house. I tried all the adapters that I could find and ended up with one from an Apple StyleWriter (9.5VDC 1.5Am). Will using this adapter cause any problems over time? Even if it doesn't cause problems, it is still annoying huge (2'' * 2.25'' * 4''). Does anybody know of either a good site or another type of adapter that would work?

you could probably find an official one on ebay for about the same price
that site charges high shipping if you didnt check its

My official power adapter for my genesis, is huge. I dont think your current adapter will cause harm to the genesis.
