Rewiring the speaker
While I was hacking up my Casio LCD screen the speaker fell off, so I decided I would wait and lengthen the wires. While digging around my room I found another speaker that I decided to use instead. Only problem is that the old speaker was wired up with orange and brown wires, does anyone know if brown = black and orange = red? Or should I just guess and check?

It doesn't really matter. You only have to worry about what wires go to which spots if you're running more than one speaker. (With more than one, they have to be "in phase", pushing and pulling air the same way, or else they'll sound bad or start to cancel each other out.)
