xbox laptop

I was just wondering if the xbox laptops are still able to behave like regular laptops (running windows) I wasn't sure if the keyboards are for sure or not

The Xbox laptops aren't PCs. The keyboard is for games that can use it (for chatting or text entry or something), but they're not going to run Windows natively.

Depending on what features you want, simply installing Xbox Media Center might make you happy. you can play music (w/ many visualizations), video, and pictures just like windows (most formats supported), emulate most previous-gen systems, and even surf the web (limited).

You should make a laptop with an xbox components and a secondary harddrive and see if you can dual boot or selectively boot.

You can have an .xbe file to launch (using whatever dashboard you want, I prefer Xbox Media Center.) Linux. I believe it's on the xbox-linux site.
