Yep, can't wait for that one. Wright said that it'd be on just about any console, even possibly on mobile - and that they will all be interconnected.

At first I was a little disappointed that there wasn't much announced that wasn't already known.

Now that I've thought about it a little more that's actually a really good thing. This was already going to be an expensive second half the year for me anyway.

Games I almost certainly will buy:

Mass Effect, GTA IV, PGR 4, Halo 3, GH3, Rock Band (one of the variations for sure)

Games I'll probably buy if I have any money left:

Half Life 2: Orange Edition, CoD 4, Blue Dragon

Out of the new stuff, I am interested in the Scene-It game (I love the board games!) and the Viva Pinata one could be interesting, although it sounds like it could just be a Mario Party type knockoff, but we'll see.

Looks like it's going to be a pretty costly final 6 months of the year!

Actually, the character on assassins creed was standing on a small ledge. I have a big screen TV, so I could see it

. It was like a metal overhang for a balcony.

Games I'm getting for 360:

GTA4, DDR:U2,Guitar Hero 3, Halo 3, Assassins Creed, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, Darkness, StrangleHold, Halflife 2: Orange.

Games I MAY get: Rockband, Blue Dragon.

Also, all you 360 owners check your Live Arcade section. They got Sonic The Hedgehog on it, and 6 other releases. Plus disney movies in the media.

I'm downloading the Sonic The Hedgehog trial right now

Absolutely stunning... The lighting is fantastic as is the texture and model detail. The lack of shiny plastic look is a very nice feature.

People say Killzone 2 will beat halo 3. I doubt it. Halo 1 kicked ass. Halo 2 kicked even more ass. Halo 3 will kick all ass.

Killzone 1 sucked. Killzone 2 may suck.

are you referring to graphics? Story? Gameplay? Word is that it plays a lot like Call of Duty, which is a very good thing. Graphics are obviously amazing, far better than Halo 3 in many if not all ways, and story I would say are bout equal. But I don't think that this is supposed to be competing with Halo, Its not even close to being the same style of FPS.
I want Halo 3 don't get me wrong, but the animation in the trailer that was shown last night was fugly. Killzone 2 has I would say the best animation of any game that I have ever seen.

FYI - They do have a Blue Dragon demo on Xbox Live now for anyone who is interested.

I will have to take a look at the Killzone trailer. It sounds interesting, but I'm doubting that it will be enough to make me run out and buy a PS3 just yet.

Although I just read that the demo has been taken down now. Perhaps, there is an issue we are not yet aware of.

Are you able to download it HDC?
