It was good but, I give it a 8.5/10. If you did not read the book(like my lazy self) it is hard to tell whats going on. it jumps from scene to scene through most of the move and some parts are just plain left out.
Well anyway who else say it?

No! Horrible answer!Dr. KillGood wrote:My parents read it and told me so.wallydawg wrote:If you havent read the book how do you know parts are left out?
YES! ANSWER!
Movie was AMAZING. Being one that hasn't even read the 4th and 5th yet, I was easily filled in. Epic battle scenes were epic - depressing death was depressing.
9.5/10 ~ I suggest it to all, Potter fanatics and nubers alike.

Even though I love the books, I've found the movies lacking. I have the first 2 on DVD, only saw the third once, in theater, and I haven't even seen the 4th (or 5th). One thing that bugs the crap out of me is that Voldemort has a high voice. What kind of awesome villain has a high voice, Vader certainly doesn't. But then I haven't seen the ones with him in them (I can't remember what he sounded like in the 1st), so it might be an ok high voice.

What? If anything is perfect about these movies, it's the casting, Voldemort included. Snape was especially well done, and the three main characters were all superbly selected. Besides, his voice wasn't even high.vskid wrote:Even though I love the books, I've found the movies lacking. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I hope to go either tonight or tomorrow with some friends. I haven't read a book since the third one, mainly because I just lost interest, but I still get a kick out of the movies. (Take THAT, Ray Bradbury!

In Goblet of Fire and (I assume as I haven't seen it yet) Order of the Phoneix, Voldemort definitely doesn't have a high-pitched voice. He is played by the great Ralph Fiennes who was an inspired choice for the role. Looking forward to seeing Order probably sometime this weekend.vskid wrote:Even though I love the books, I've found the movies lacking. Gonna hit up Transformers tonight for the second time as the wife wants to check it out. Should be a good time.
"Autobots! Roll out..."
I'm going to see #5 in Imax 3D or something on Saturday, I doubt it'll come close to Transformers, though.
