Anyone ever have an idea but find it to be impossible?

I was just wondering, There are a lot of people who make amazing portables on this forum. But have you ever had an idea for a portable but then when you drew plans or thought about it more it was basically impossible?

The knowledge of living in a dorm for the next 4+ years put a real damper on my dreams of building an arcade cab.

Mostly it's time and money constrictions.

Other times, you have a great idea, and you know it can be done, but only with skills well outside your range.

I'm still trying to get my Dreamcast laptop started but I don't even have a spare DC, or an lcd because I can't get enough money
