saw Transformers yesterday. Thought it was really good. I was entertained throughout, but I think it'll feel like a long movie on dvd. The fight scenes were a bit hard to follow. I didn't even know which autobot Megs killed until the end.

I agree with Ben, though. The 'Cons show up way to late. Megs, especially. I also didn't get why the 'cons were talking in tf-ese until megs woke up.

I suppose Bonecrusher, Starscream, and the cop car are all still around as well as the surviving autobots? I think they got the tank, but I can't remember any other con going down....

Raab wrote:ya die hard 4 was pretty good i can decide which on is better but did anyone notice how all the cars on the good side were GM and the cars on the other side were like ford and stuff. Even the towtruck the girl uses to tow around bumblebee is GM thats y they have transformers in the gm comercials i suppose.
It was to save money, supposedly limiting themselves to primarily GM vehicles saved them $3 million.

BIG NEWS:
Two sequels have been signed, Lebouf Fox and Cullen are all signed on, Bay hasn't (and hopefully won't).

And Die Hard 4, it was good, after it ended me and my friends (who are 16 and 17, I'm 18) all stood up and shouted out "Yippiekiay motherfuc*ers!" We were followed out by the old man saying "your parent must be real proud of you boys", "you should grow up", and the last is the best, "meet you in the parking lot". This dude was like 60+ years old...

Oh GOD. The movie gets worse the more I think about it. It had basically two plots that led into each other.
SPOILER WARING

1) Get the glasses. But take your sweet-ass time actually progressing the plot. Make sure you add all the unnecessary humans you can and shove the Autobots way too late so that when one of them dies, you don't even care.
2) Get the AllSpark. This time, however, rush it. Don't bother giving the Decepticons any lines. Just bring 'em in real late and have a bunch of fight scenes in which you can't even tell what's going on because of the stupid, over-complex CGI. Then have Optimus and Megatron duke it out for a minute, before Megatron is unsuspectingly killed and the movie suddenly ends. Oh, and make it a GM commercial.

SPOILERS END HERE

I don't want to make an "I'm leaving" thread, but I've sort of lost interest in this board. So if you notice that I'm gone, that's why.

If there was anything wrong with the movie at all it was this. Good fights though. (Watch out for the xbox lol)

Anyone else find it weak that the Allspark got destroyed at the end of the movie? Its not supposed to be destroy-able..

Prediction - Megatron, who was dumped in the ocean (similar to what happeend in G1) will come back, and with the strength of the Allspark, is transformed into Galvatron (they turn him into Galvatron in every other Transformers spinoff, why not this one?), and somehow Unicron gets attracted, and comes, and they must battle him.
And somewhere Primus pops up.

I'm thinking they should do a prequel, showing one of the Cybertronian Wars, before the Transformers come to Earth. Maybe including Unicron in that.

The only issue is that Unicron is so massive (size of a planet) that they'd probably copulate it up somehow.

I thought it was awesome, even though it got bad reviews. I saw it the day it came out. It went with my older cousin and his girlfriend, and some guy that looked and acted exactly like tommy chong was sitting bye us. he even started hitting my cousin yelling "WOW DUDE DID YOU SEE THAT"

Starscream escaped? I didn't notice it apparently. As for the reviews on the IMDB it has a 82% which aint to shabby but on Rotten Tomatoes it has a 56%.... Ouch.

I just saw it today and it was awesome! I saw some of the old animated movies yesterday and They kick ass too. Megatron getting dumped in the ocean instead of getting destroyed seems like a good setup for a sequal. Though I gotta say the old ones have better music.
