PS2 portable

Post by c2tb34 »

Ok.

I was wondering,
what would be different(harder) about making a PS2 portable compared to a PSOne portable. I know that battery life is a lot shorter for a PS2, and it would be bigger, but are those the only real obstacles?
I don't know what I'm building now....

There's also things like heat and tray-loading drives on a PS2 that you should be concerned about. Overall, the PSOne is one of the easiest portables, and the PS2 is one of the hardest.

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

If I was able to use the original heat sink, cause size isnt really that much of a factor to me, would it really be that much different though?
