Saturn portable?
Why no one has made a Saturn portable? It's insides aren't really big

This has been asked time and time again, just run a quick search for it and you'll get plenty of results.
To answer your question, it's kinda been done; Segasonicfan made this prototype Saturn portable, but evidently, it's more trouble than it's worth. The motherboards are more volatile than even that of the N64, and it'd cost you a fortune to produce, seeing as they're so expensive. But yeah, that's as close as anyone's ever gotten.

I'm making some vinyls now. I'm planning on a laptop style console. But not a laptop like the Nintendo DS, a laptop that you sit on the table and play with the gamepad.
And if you really are going to do this, good luck! Hopefully we can get to see the first real Saturn portable.
