Perhaps an Xbox portable is not impossible after all  .....
Four of these would power it for an hour or two.

Finding a charger is a problem. I'm having my dad ask a bunch of his buds about it.

I'm gonna try calling jameco later today and ask them what they recommend for a charger. Hey, it's worth a shot. Of course I'll probably get somebody who speaks broken english and dosn't know a crap...

That sounds great :D :D
Please update us on what you find!!!

Actually, Jameco is a friendlier supplier than Digi Key. It's a good chance you will get a nice response. I have ordered from them before, and delivery is very rapid (one week).

Your aware that the Xbox only uses like 2 maybe 3 amps an hour.

As for a charger they should exsist, The thing about those batteries are, arent they really disigned for memory back up on things like compters (like the Bios).

I seriously doubt it was intended for memory backup.
Memory backup only uses 3 or 4 microamps (.000004 amps)
The battery would discharge on its own before the memory could drain it.
16.5/.000004 =4,125,000 hours!!

Well I called and they said it was NOT RECHARGEABLE! Even though it was listed under the reachargeable batterys.
The only rechargeable ones there are the Ni-Mh batterys and one Li-Ion battery

They said it was a common mistake :x If it's a common mistake why do they have it listed under rechargeable batterys!!!

I figured they wouldn't be, but I was optimistic since they did list them under rechargables :(
I guess they wouldn't be too bad though if you just wanted some so you can play a long time :)

Yeah but you cant use those.
The maximum current draw is 420mAh--way too low for any portable, except maybe a NOAC.
