Home made paintball gun?

Post by Dr. KillGood »

Well I am to poor to afford a real one so I thought I might make one! I could use some PVC pipe or something a 2 liter bottle to hold air from a bike pump then another 2 liter bottle to hold paint balls? What do you think? :?

Do they make paintballs with water in them because that would be less messy! :P

How big is a paintball will it fit through a 2 leters mouth? What size PVC do I need?

i don think the pop bottle could withstand the pressures needed for a paintball gun. ever do one of those water and air rocket 2 litters? id spend the money for a real tank and fake the rest.

Yeah, don't bother making your own. It will suck infinitely.

unless you have an incredibly high amount of knowloge of how a paintball gun operates and have cnc mill and lathe acess dont bother trying to make a paintball gun. Brass eagle sucks really really bad. Paintball is an expensive sport I play it so i know get over it or find something cheaper to do.

Yeah, thanks Kenny. If you're too poor to buy a $20 forget going paint balling. On average 500 = $10.00, 1000 = $20.00, and 2000 = $30.00, and these are all for cheap-o paint balls.

Make one that shoots mini marshmallows, they're are super cheap and clean, and you can fire them with as much force as you want and you don't have to worry about them bursting and jamming your gun.

I think this could work pretty well:

Click

It's instructions for a nerf gun , but it would probably function with paintballs.
