Recomended Wii Games?

Burichi no Wii Shiruken Kirameku Shirahara Ryonbyoukyou is a NTSC only game, and you will need a Japanese Wii or a USA Wii with a modchip / WabModCheap or something else for playing it.

It doesn't work in european Wii's.

Here you can buy it. See the videos, it looks amazing specially for Burichi fans (like me).

Im not much of a zelda fan *dodges rocks* Ive played the first one for the NES, but it didnt really grab my attention. Am I missing out by not playing any of the newer zelda games?

id recommend Rayman Raving Rabbids. they're coming out with a sequel to it, but the first one is a lot of fun. its a great game for multiplayer, that's where it really shines.

@androba:Oh. I dont have the heart (or the cash if I screw up) to mod my wii.

Is the gameplay of redsteel kind of like Time Crisis. ie You dont get to choose where you go, but you kill everything on screen?

well, windwaker is ok, IMHO not the best game in the series. twilight princess is really worth it. the puzzles are great, its 40+ hours long, and extremely fun.

Yeah Twilight Princess has even been said to be better than Ocarina Of Time, but personally i like Ocarina Of Time more. It seems to have a certain feel to it thats very naturally fun and challenging at some points. Twilight Princess at this time in the Wiis life is the best so far. Best Graphics, best controls, and best Story on the Wii. So far i mean.

i loved the cel shading, i just didnt like the gameplay. the boat thing felt like it was slapped on for me.

Don't get me wrong i loved Wind Waker its a great game and i thought the cel shaded graphics were awesome too. Just i could have lived if they had no sailing. Having to sail for along time for the first couple of missions got kinda repetitive.

Just get a used copy of it. a lot of people don't realize that you can get really good deals by buying used games. A big majority of the used games i have bought have no scratches at all.

Used copies are the way to go, I bought SSX Blur for $30 used. That and RE4 are my favorite Wii games, I plan to pick up Paper Mario very soon.

SSX controls are awesome, I love carving with the nunchuk, and ubertricks aren't hard once you learn the trick (keeping the remote parallel to the floor while motioning). I like that SSX can be either straightforward or open ended depending on what you feel like doing. and it has a ton of stuff to unlock. Plus, it is one of the few games that was made for the Wii and not designed for the gamecube/ps2 (I'm looking at you Zelda, and Mario Party, and most every other game)

RE4 has blown me away. Its my first time playing a resident evil so I didn't know what to expect. $30 price point is something I wish more of the ports to the Wii would adopt.

Zelda is good, if not slightly over-rated, although I'm only halfway through so it may get better. Great game, just not OMFG the BEZT G4ME EVER!!1 like some people will tell you.

Redsteel is a good shooter, but the sword fights ruin it. they start of too dumb and easy, then are good for a few levels, then get ridiculously frustratingly hard. Multi player is fun if the other players are used to the controls, otherwise they get mad and you get bored.

I was not a fan of Rayman, or Mario Party 8 for that matter. Minigame collections just tick me off because they are such a mixed bag. Mario Party doesn't support wide screen (has tacky borders) which bothers me a LOT. Wii Play is complete junk other than the tanks game, but at least it comes with a remote.

I cannot wait for Metroid Prime 3, and I will probably get RE: Umbrella Chronicles since it is supposed to cover the story of all the games before RE4.

My question is: has anyone played the Sonic game? I heard it was supposed to feel more like classic sonic on the genesis (fast, somewhat linear action) Anyone know if its crap or not?

Well the thing about Sonic And The Secret Rings is that it does feel more like a classical run run run Sonic game but it was missing somethings too. The controls were alright, a little floppy for my taste but i really liked the speed of the game, it felt like you were actually running like Sonics past games (and unlike Sonics lame adventures, and the 360/PS3 versions) I would recommend it but i would say rent it first too.
