metroid is pretty, but I've always gotten bored before completing the first mission
I lost interest in pokemon too, but it took 60 hours of gametime for that to happen...
I don't like to push piracy devices, but...well I use one. It's silly not to with prices the way they are. I just buy the games later on when they're on clearance and keep them sealed.

your $40 browser money might be better spend elseware--perhaps on a more refined posting terminal. any cheapo box that runs nt4.0, win95 or above should be able to run the remote desktop client so you can steal speed from a real computer in the house. You'd have to be trying to pay more than $40 for a 10+ year old computer.

The above is a pain in the rear, but so is the DS browser. The screens aren't large enough to display anything and compatibility isn't ideal. Are you old enough to remember the first dreamcast browser? DS is far worse.

I say Opera browser and Pokémon (or just an R4). The web browser isn't fantastic, but it worked great for me on my trip to San Francisco this past week (no laptop). And Pokémon is just amazing. I'm not a big Metroid or FPS fan, and Hunters gave me massive hand cramps, but other people seem to like it.

I'm almost certain the EZFlashV + 3in1 cart bundle will run the DS Browser rom- err, I mean backup- making use of the 3in1's built in ram. You can get the EZFlashV, the 3in1 cart, and a 1GB MicroSD card for 53 bucks on DealExtreme.

Just a heads up, Zelda - Phantom Hourglass sucks! Don't buy it when it comes out in your Country!

Will you buy Pokemon already! Jeez :P

Or at least an R4DS/M3DSS and the EZ Flash 3 in 1 That combo will run the DS Browser Backup.

Yes, I'm playing it right now, I hate the control scheme...it's terrible.

Also, they could have made the camera better, and it only has 3 very easy dungeons.

Now half of the reason it sucks atm is because the version I'm playing is in Japanese, but theres more reasons I don't like it than that.

wow, a handheld zelda that sucks? That's actually a first for nintendo, they're usually very good--especially those capcom ones.

Now the rest of the zelda series has sucked for 15 years (IMO), but at least the handheld ones were pretty good. I think the introduction of "camera angle" into the zelda mix is where it started to slide for me. that and when they introduced the concept that Link was really more of a missing member of the village people than a warrior. When he was pixelated it was up to my imagination, and I never would have pictured him like that...

Agreed, Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages were the best Zelda games ever, they kicked the crap outta the Console versions
