Screen turning black with sound or no screen at all?

Well lately in the last 2 weeks my screen is just black if i move the cable. Its not the console, because i can touch the part were it plugs in and move it around and it does nothing, but if i touch the bulge part, the screen goes black, but I still have sound.

You might have a broken connection. If it's the cable best thing to do first is check connectivity. If you have a multi-meter that has that option use it to see if you have a broken connection, a weak connection or anything else like that.

If you have a broken connection, and it's as you say, just cut the part out of the cable that you think is a problem (likely just either side of that bulge), solder the cable back into one piece, and wrap with electrical tape.

If you can't seem to find any problem with the cable double check the connector at the A/V port on the console itself. If pin is bent, broken, or somehow compromised you might have to see about fixing it there. Hopefully you wont have a problem there.

Well its not the A/V port, I think it's gotta be the cord, I'm just gonna leave it alone tho and get a A/V cord instead of RF. the box were you switch the channel the system uses has been broken since i bought it at wal-mart 1 day after release... I sense a return -.- Well I taped that back then, and it started doing this after i took the tape off, I've tried re-taping it but nothing happens.

If this bulge is the problem, open it up. Inside you will find bare-ended wires that need to be soldered or re-soldered. Simple as that.

Well there wasn't anything wrong with the cord it turns out! It was my tv! All my systems were like that.. I rook the tv apart, and there was a loose wire in the tv. Well I'm still getting a A/V cord. Thanks for your help people!
