Google "nerf mods", theres a kazillion sites about it. I'm wanting to get into it, too. I was reading some old stuff here, and madc0w said his could leave welts from 20 feet. Thats good enough for me, and I could likely outfit my whole family with modded guns for the price of one paintball gun, CO2, and ammo.
GamemasterAS is into nerf, I was talking to him about it just the other day.

I used to work at toys r us and there was a guy that came in while I was working and he asked me where the nerf guns were. Now picture a bum, give him a little nicer clothes, and thats what this guy looked like. So I took him over there and then he started to go on and on about how he's on a forum that's all about modding nerf guns. I just pretended to be interested because I wasn't allowed to be mean to customers. But yeah I'm sure that if you just googled nerf modding like vskid said. You'll definitely find something

Nerf's are easy to mod, it's so well documented that there are a few too many redundant sites.

Sort of, you can buy the bb paint balls, but mainly airsoft shoots little bbs and paintball shoots 68 caliber paintballs.

also airsoft is usuly pnumatic and most paintball is co2 powerd

I am making about 300 darts at the moment, they go further and they sting. They are so much cheaper to, I can make 300 for under 15 as uposed to buying maybe 25 for that price.
