Model II Import Mod

Hi,

I was searching around for how to mod a Genesis Model II to run imports, and I came across this picture;



The problem is it's not very clear. If anyone has a picture of the Model II board or is willing to open theirs up (G-Force), I would greatly appreciate a fresh picture and a new paint image of the clearer board and what to do.

What does he mean by cut this trace?

based on the diagram you cut the trace (making sure it no longer connected to that resistor) attach the trace from the ic to the center of a spdt switch and connect the other two points to either side of the spdt switch.
